Dr. Fabian Hänle is one of Germany’s leading China speakers on business, geopolitics, and innovation. He combines entrepreneurial China experience at board level with strategic insight into global shifts in power, markets, and competition.
Through keynotes, publications, books, podcasts, and media contributions, Fabian Hänle’s positions and perspectives have gained broad resonance in recent years – reaching more than five million people worldwide.
His work addresses business decision-makers, political actors, and leaders shaping the future of society.
Business Career
Dr. Fabian Hänle is Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and Executive Board Member of the globally active FATH Group, a German global market leader in industrial automation.
From 2013 to 2021, he served as CEO in China and led the development of Blickle’s Chinese subsidiary from the ground up. Blickle is a German global market leader in wheels and castor technology. Under his leadership, the Chinese subsidiary became one of the leading providers in the Chinese market.
He completed his PhD on business internationalization between Europe and China, with a focus on political framework conditions, and teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Antwerp Management School. As a multiple-book author and international keynote speaker, he provides strategic insight to top decision-makers in business and politics. He speaks fluent Mandarin.

Academic Background
Fabian Hänle studied International Business at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) and, on scholarship, at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). While serving as CEO in China, he completed the Executive MBA program at Mannheim Business School and Tongji University Shanghai, graduating top of his class.
Following his commitment to combining practice and theory, he completed his doctorate through the Executive PhD program of Antwerp Management School and the University of Antwerp. In 2024, he was appointed Professor and Adjunct Faculty Member. He is the author of several books and academic articles published in international peer-reviewed journals.
